Welcome to the HBCU Golf Foundation website. By accessing or using our Site, registering for golf camps, creating a recruiting portal profile, or applying for scholarships, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").
By using our Site or services, you confirm that:
You have read, understood, and agree to these Terms

If you are under 18, your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and consented to these Terms on your behalf

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any Service at any time without prior notice.
To access the Recruiting Portal or apply for scholarships, you must create an account. You agree to:
Provide accurate, complete, and current information
Update your information promptly if it changes
Keep your login credentials confidential
Not share your account with anyone else
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for:
Providing false or misleading information
Violating these Terms
Engaging in harmful, harassing, or illegal conduct
Any other reason at our sole discretion
Users under 18 must have parental consent. Parents/guardians are responsible for:
Supervising their child's use of the Site
Reviewing recruiting portal interactions
Providing accurate medical and emergency information for camps
You agree NOT to:

Creating an account pretending to be a coach or another student
Unauthorized access
Hacking, scraping, or attempting to bypass security features

Sending unsolicited promotions or mass messages through the portal
Illegal activity
Using our Site for any unlawful purpose
Violation of this Code of Conduct may result in immediate account termination and, where applicable, referral to law enforcement.
The Recruiting Portal is a tool to facilitate connections between student-athletes and HBCU golf coaches. However:
We DO NOT guarantee that any coach will view your profile
We DO NOT guarantee scholarship offers, roster spots, or admission to any HBCU
We ARE NOT an agent or representative of any college or university
Coaches make independent recruiting decisions based on their own criteria
The portal is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
All scholarship applications must be complete and truthful
False information will result in immediate disqualification
Selection committee decisions are final and not subject to appeal
Scholarships are awarded for educational expenses related to HBCU attendance and golf participation
Funds are paid directly to the HBCU or to vendors (e.g., for equipment, travel, fees)
We reserve the right to revoke awards for violation of these Terms or misconduct
Camp fees (if any) are due at the time of registration
Refunds are issued only if the HBCU Golf Foundation cancels a camp
No refunds for participant no-shows or late cancellations
All participants must sign a Liability Waiver prior to participation
Minors require a Parent/Guardian Consent Form
Participants must follow all safety instructions from camp staff
We may dismiss any participant from a camp for:
Unsafe behavior
Disrespect toward staff or other campers
Violation of golf course rules
Any conduct we deem harmful to the camp environment
Dismissed participants will not receive refunds.
All content on this Site – including logos, text, graphics, photos, videos, software, and the name "HBCU Golf Foundation" – is owned by us or licensed to us. It is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You MAY NOT:
Copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without written permission
Use our logo or branding without authorization
Frame or mirror any part of our Site
By submitting content to our Site (e.g., recruiting profile, photos, videos, testimonials), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, display, and distribute that content for the purpose of providing our Services.
You represent that you own or have permission to share any content you submit.

That any recruiting or scholarship outcomes will be achieved

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (e.g., lost scholarships, lost opportunities, emotional distress)
Maximum Liability
Our total liability to you shall not exceed $100 or the amount you paid us (if any), whichever is less
Inherent Sports Risks
We are not liable for injuries sustained during golf activities beyond standard negligence standards
This limitation applies even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the HBCU Golf Foundation, its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, sponsors, and agents from any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from:
Your violation of these Terms
Your use of the Site or Services
Information you submit (including false or misleading information)
Your violation of any third-party rights
Our Site may contain links to third-party websites (e.g., college admissions portals, tournament registration sites, golf associations). We are not responsible for:
The content, privacy policies, or practices of those websites
Any damages or losses caused by your use of those websites
You access third-party websites at your own risk.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of our Site shall be resolved as follows:
Informal Negotiation: You agree to first contact us at legal@hbcu.golf to attempt to resolve the dispute informally.
Binding Arbitration: If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, it shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Fulton County, Georgia, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
Class Action Waiver: You agree to bring claims only in your individual capacity, not as a class representative or class member.
Either party may bring a claim in small claims court in Fulton County, Georgia, instead of arbitration.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Parent/Guardian Consent Form, and Camp Liability Waiver, constitute the entire agreement between you and the HBCU Golf Foundation regarding your use of our Site and Services.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Effective Date."
Minor changes: May be made without direct notice to you
Material changes: We will notify you via email (if you have an account) or by a prominent notice on our Site
